Returns Window

Our returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If more than 30 days have passed, we are unable to offer a refund, exchange, or store credit.

Eligibility

To qualify for a return, items must be:

• Unused and in the same condition as received
• Returned in the original packaging
• In resalable condition

The following items are non-returnable:

• Transponder chips
• Picks
• Products involving software or licence keys once activated or registered

Compatibility Checks

We provide compatibility information and product guidance to the best of our ability, based only on the details available to us. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, all information should be treated as a guide only and may not be 100% accurate.

 budgetcarkey Limited cannot be held responsible for incorrect fitment, wrong keys ordered, or items purchased in error. Customers are responsible for carrying out their own research before purchasing.

Order Cancellations

• If your order has not yet been dispatched (our postage cut-off is 4 pm, Monday–Friday), please call us immediately to cancel and receive a full refund or store credit.
• Email cancellations may not be seen in time, so a phone call to 01924 654144 is the quickest method.
• If your order has already been dispatched, you may still return it within 30 days, but original postage costs are non-refundable.
• If your order qualified for free shipping, a deduction of £3.50 will be applied to cover shipping and handling.

Items Ordered by Mistake

If you accidentally order the wrong item, you may return it within 30 days of receipt for a refund, exchange, or store credit, provided the item is unused, in original packaging, and resalable.

• Return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility.
• Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
• A £3.50 shipping and handling charge may be deducted from your refund.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us immediately at support@accessfobs.co.uk or by phone 01924 654144.

We will arrange a full refund, replacement, or store credit at no extra cost, including return shipping. We may ask for photos or evidence of the issue to help process your claim quickly.

Sale Items

Sale items are non-refundable. Only regularly priced products qualify for a refund, exchange, or store credit.

Licence Activation

Products involving software or licence keys are non-returnable and non-refundable once activated or registered. This is because licences cannot be transferred or reused after activation. By purchasing from us, you agree to these terms in line with standard industry practices and consumer protection regulations.

Refunds, Exchanges & Store Credit

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of approval or rejection.

If approved, you can choose from:

• Refund – processed back to your original payment method within 14 days
• Exchange – subject to stock availability
• Store Credit – issued instantly once your return is approved, ready to use on future purchases

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received a refund yet:

1. Re-check your bank account.

2. Contact your bank or card provider, as processing may take time.

Returning Items

When sending an item back, please include your order number so we can identify and process it quickly.

• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
• Delivery times for exchanges may vary depending on your location.
• For items valued over £50, we recommend using a tracked service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without proof of delivery.

Handling Charge

For returns where  budgetcarkey Limited is not at fault (such as items ordered incorrectly or compatibility issues), a £3.50 handling charge may be deducted from your refund.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
